My paintings are a spiritual path, a journey of discovery.   My current work is done in water soluble oils on canvas.  I love the freedom that this medium gives me.   I build up layers of paint, scrub and wash it off before it completely dries, and then reapply more paint.  Sometimes I put the whole painting in the sink or bathtub; or in the case of one, outside in a summer rainstorm, and let the water add its magic to the work. 

Trees play a major part in all of my work.  I admire the way their branches reach out to heaven while their roots are firmly entwined into the earth.   The moon is another recurring theme.  Even though man walked on it almost forty years ago now, it still retains its mystery and romance.
