I started drawing and painting as soon as I could hold a crayon. I took art classes throughout school, but to a large extent I am self-taught. Life took me away from art for awhile, but it has been the focus in my life again for the last several years.
I am the treasurer for the Art Resource Association. I also belong to Studio Place Arts and SEABA. I am one of the co-coordinators of the Annual Paine Mountain Arts Council Northfield, VT, Art Show and I am the curator for the Vermont Chocolatiers Cafe Art Gallery in Northfield.
My work has been exhibited in local group juried shows, including SPA’s “Families” and “T-shirt!” in 2006, “The Art of Music” and "Paint the Gallery Red" in 2007, "The Boat Show" and "Bird's Eye View" in 2008. I have had solo exhibits at the City Center in Montpelier VT and at Speeder & Earl’s in Burlington, VT. Two of my paintings were “Juror’s Selection” at the 2006 Art Hop. I am one of 10 artists chosen to design a banner to hang on the streets of downtown Montpelier - my banner is on the corner of State and Main, by Cool Jewels.
